What this website collects, why, and who sees it. Plainly stated.

This policy covers srmgp.com and the domains that lead to it, operated by Strategic Risk Management Group Inc. (“SRMG,” “we,” “us”) of Omaha, Nebraska. It explains how we handle information collected through this website. It does not cover information handled in a separate engagement with you, or by any other business a member of our team is affiliated with.
When you use the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, organization, the topic of your inquiry, your timing, and your message. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you include.
Please don’t send account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive financial details through the website. We’ll ask for what’s needed once we’ve spoken.
The Strategy Desk chat is a scripted assistant that runs entirely in your browser. What you type there is not sent to us, not stored, and disappears when you leave the page.
Sending us information through this website does not create a client relationship.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with the service providers that run this website for us, under their own privacy terms:

Google Analytics uses small files called cookies to tell new visits from returning ones. We use them only to understand how the site is used, not to advertise to you. We do not use advertising pixels or retargeting.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Because we don’t sell information or track you across other websites, the site doesn’t change its behavior in response to “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals; there is no such tracking to switch off.
We keep inquiries and correspondence as long as needed to respond to you and to meet our business and regulatory recordkeeping obligations. Google Analytics data is kept for a limited period, currently no more than 14 months.
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, subject to any records we’re required to keep. Email mike@strategicriskmanagementgroup.com and we’ll respond within 45 days. Depending on where you live, your state’s privacy law may give you additional rights; we’ll honor them.
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect what you share. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is one more reason to keep sensitive details out of web forms.
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
The site links to organizations we admire. Their websites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
